The Maternal Health Alliance of Maine is a network for mothers suffering from perinatal mood and anxiety disorders (PMADs).

It’s ok NOT to cherish every moment!
You deserve time to gripe, grumble, grieve, be grateful or just be with yourself. We provide the space and empathy for you to express the good bad and ugly of motherhood without judgment.

The Maternal Health Alliance of Maine provides a safe place for women to connect, share experiences and receive support. 1 in 7 pregnant and new moms have a PMAD, like postpartum depression; locally in Maine, that means thousands of women, families and loved ones every single year need help navigating mental illnesses that are often taboo subjects.
